Good fishing at sunrise. I was able to see a Manatee moving in and around the pier area. Great sunrise view.

Nice park been their several times. Even went for a walk at 10pm and place feels very safe and is well lit. Bathroom was fairly clean the only downside I found was the boardwalk going under the bridge was closed besides that no issues.

Beautiful spot at the bridges to take a quick walk or get a line wet or just sit and watch the storms or sunset. Seems clean whenever I'm there. Lizards of all sort around. Nice little beach area to wade.

Really nicely done place to stop and watch the world go by. Noticed several people parking and walking the bridge. Someone fishing but mostly people parking to exercise. The bathroom was okay. Handicapped accessible. Walkway under the bridge to the other side, but under construction makes it is usable at this time.

The parking is on the way back into Port Charlotte leaving Punta Gorda, yes the north bound 41, the entrance is before the racetrac gas station and Melbourne Ave. If you miss that then continue to Melbourne and turn right and turn right again across from the racetrac. Have fun at the Pier it's a good fishing spot.
