🔴 Warning Parents ⚠️!🔴 If you have a child , do not I repeat Do Not take your child to this hospital.. I just took my 3 year old son screaming and crying with a stomachache. It was almost 2 hours still no help.. My son screaming and no help. I asked another patient how long he had been there he told me 3 hours. So I got out of there and I came to stony brook hospital. In less than 10 minutes I was taken to a room and 10-15 minutes later I saw a doctor. Come to stony brook if you have a child.

1st X here as LICommunity hosp. Used to be Brookhaven hospital which I refused to go to due to horror stories. Went in through ER via Ambulance so couldn't tell you about any other ?s. Was a long 4 hrs though. Place seemed clean, folks knew what they were doing etc.

I went to Peconic Bay medical center and I went to the hospital for a panic attack and some of the nurses hate me because of a law suit and the wife works there. Well they gave me fish oil in my IV knowing I'm allergic to it. My broke out in a rash was itching and my face broke out with 8 welts. Another time his wife and friends left me in pain crying for a long time and left me in my puke. I banged my head on the wall from stomach pain. Another time I went ifor a stroke and they let the bosses son come in my ER room this way he can get a good look at me before he started harassing me for 2 years. This is all true so if you have an enamy that works here don't go. All these times I was taken by ambulance so I really had no choice but to go here. Then when I called and complained they changed the complaint day says those 2 nurses weren't working that night. Yeah I know you changed the date . This is all true

Would not let me visit my father without vaccine card or PCR test. PCR test takes 2 days to get the results, but they keep saying he will be released the next day every day for a week. However, if I had a vaccine card I could freely visit by flashing a piece of paper even if I was currently contagious with Covid. Policy should allow visitors to get a rapid test since the vaccine is useless in the prevention and transmission of Covid.

All I know is that CVS Pharmacies and Urgent Care sites get doses periodically. You must go to their websites to make an appointment first. The appointment slots fill up quickly though.

Nothing about this "hospital" is good. If you care about the health and safety of your loved one do not go here. Ever. This place should be shut down

You can call the hospital and ask to be transferred over to outpatient registration
Call main Hospital number and ask for Information Services. I believe they can provide you with a temporary password.
