Great natural hiking trails. Lots of wildlife...if you are quiet. You can see deer, squirrels, armadillos and maybe a tortoise...and a lot of different birds too...if you are quiet and observant. I have hiked in this park many times. Nature is wonderful. The park staff is always helpful, courteous and professional. Clean restrooms too. Take a hike...and do it here. You will not be disappointed.

Good camping, fairly level RV/tent sites and campground roads without huge potholes- good place to camp for a few days. Unlike some other Florida State Parks, this one is not DOMINATED by locals from the area making others feel like they are intruding on their private space. Sheesh, that's got to go

A truly beautiful place to visit. It shows a diverse array of landscape. When I went part of the trail was closed and under construction but what I did see was breathtaking. It was the clearest blue water I'd ever seen with my own eyes. The wildlife was unbelievable I saw a black crane, white heron, a monkey, schools of fish, a small alligator. My fiancee and I paid $2 each just to take a walking tour but they have glass bottom boat rides you can take a tour on, they also have kayak rentals and you can bring your own kayaks. Go during the week to have it practically to yourself.

I don't think so. It's a great place to stay for vacation. We absolutely loved the cabins.

Why are the dump trucks allowed to empty trash bins at 6:15 in the morning? LOUD, way before quiet time rules for the campground.

Agreed, remove stinky trash, when the park is open, not during quiet hours.
