Place is incredible as far a a resort. Beautifully layout and really is high class all around. With the high class comes the high cost. Not a budget friendly place. Pro shop has beautiful shirts and gear but not giving any thing away. Restaurant and bar ain't cheap, bowl of chili is over ten bucks. I drove the 100 miles to play the El campion course, only because I had a complete freebie, I've been hearing and reading it's incredible. It was OK. Not super. The greens were nice, fairways OK layout so so. Lots of narrow fairways. Some holes you were teeing off over big hills you couldn't see where to hit. I wasn't thrilled. Lots of the cart path was broken up with tree roots and under repair, I hear the course is over 100 years old. It looked it. Still worth trying out, but I think shingle creek, celebration, or champions gate courses are much nicer for around $40-$60 rate

Both courses are great to play and always in great shape, sometimes the staff acts like they could care less that you are there.
