This place is absolutely beautiful and so peaceful. We have stayed here many times and even last summer stayed for a few months due to my fiancé work down here. The stars at night are breathtaking. I can say they have did some upgrades since last summer. The only thing I wished about the sites is more gravel due to the heavy rain when it comes in. But if you’re looking for a beautiful, peaceful place to stay out in nature this is definitely the place to be. I will always cherish this gem.

Great place! We like secluded, quiet places. Fits bill perfectly. Few amenities which we don't care about. Not all sites have cable if you care. And if they do, you have to use a cable box that they will provide

We have been here a week, leaving tomorrow! We have thoroughly enjoyed the peace and quiet! The sites are adequately spaced and hard packed gravel. It is a bit of a hike to the bathhouse/laundry and even further to the garbage dump but that would not deter me from coming back! It’s close enough to Myrtle Beach! There is a small family owned grocery store a couple miles away but the nearest chain grocery is about 10 miles! No restaurants near by either! It’s perfect for getting away from the hustle and bustle of the tourist areas! Saturday afternoon they had karaoke from 2-6 on the porch at the winery and it was a lot of fun! Wi-Fi is ok! OTA TV is spotty at best (could be our antenna)! I recommend this campground!

Very warm and inviting welcome from staff and camp host. We found the winery station onsite a plus, wine tasting was a big hit. Staff at the winery house were very friendly. We found this to be a small park, which needs some TLC. The park has some hiking trails, however, the trails, leaves and shrubbery at the park need some maintenance. Many campers were long term, and these RV’s appeared really rough, which presented a negative look on the park. Wi-Fi was weak and not reliable. DirecTV (free standing satellite) had no issue. Verizon phones were able to get a 3g signal. Some leveling was needed, as our site was located on sand/dirt. Water pressure was strong, use regulator. Pull through sites are available. Our family is currently traveling this beautiful country via RV style, and have been RV'ing for many years. We utilize Google to assist us on locating top attractions, tasty restaurants and exciting locations within our wonderful country. Follow our adventure via Facebook/Instagram; “Happy Campers 227”.

Hello Juanita, A camper may stay on site up to 120 days after application. This is mainly used by snowbirds. If you are looking for a vacation spot to come visit and not live on site, meaning you must have main resident else where, with aproval, we have allowed these types of customers use the park longer. We have several restrictions for this use of our park. Call for more details. We are a RV Park for vacations, not a trailor park to live at.
Yes. They have a new building for it. Its a nice camp grounds. Loved it.
If you are asking while camping, then yes you may. We do have pet rules, like all parks.
Hello Linda, Please see our website for all the details your looking for www.carrollwoods.com We do not have long term live on site camping. We only allow a customer to keep their rig on site for either short term (less than 90 days) or as a vacation spot to come visite. This is not a place to come live, like a trailer park. If that is what you're looking for we are happy to help answer any questions not found on our web page by phone. We also have an application process for anyone wanting to stay longer than two weeks. Have a blessed day. Thanks for the question.
Internet work good and yes the Verizon works only in the park not out side it
The office is closed on Sunday. Not sure exactly what time departure is expected. Depends on whether someone else will be waiting to occupy the same spot. The owner/operators are great people.
Current storage is full. We recommend EZ storage off of Hwy 9.
The cost is reasonable and year round good campground..
