Excellent fish and Ahi Tuna Steak! Love this restaurant and will be spending lots more there!! 💕 Addendum: I've been ordering the Ahi Tuna for as long as they've had it and on the last few occasions they overcooked it so I'm lowering the review from 5 stars to 3. Need to get it right ✅️ I've been raving about it to friends and all over social media and I don't want to appear a fool. I've been plugging the restaurant for a long time as well. I'm a bit disheartened. The photo below is how the replacement one was served. Not on one plate and without the pita bread. It even looks like they used the same rice, which I don't mind but is a bit cheap. 😅

I absolutely love this place and the food. I will still continue to order my gyros from here but I was extremely disappointed in the calamari given seems how it is almost $10. This review is more so for a heads up that as the calamari was good, there is not alot and definetly not worth $10. When I called in the gentleman was kind and explained they weigh it but they have had previous complaints before about the amount.

Papa Gyros is out favorite Greek restaurant. It is family friendly, tasty and has takeout too. I ordered the small gyro salad with house dressing. It comes with a warm pita and is plenty for one person as a main dish. My husband ordered the gyro platter plus an extra pita and there was two meals of food for him. Tip: If you want to wrap your food in the pita, order them whole. Otherwise they come quartered. I ordered my salad pita whole too because I think they stay softer if they aren't cut.

On their website the Saganaki, or flaming cheese, is Kasseri cheese flamed at your table and served with pita bread. They pour a bit of alcohol on it to flame. That's it!
I work at Papa Gyros. They use regular sour cream, not light sour cream.
