Patten Pond Camping Resort

We had a decent stay at Patten Pond. We were in one of the cabins, which is unbeatable in the area price wise, but just know going in you are paying for your base staples and nothing else. Bugs are inevitable but manageable. The pond on property is beautiful in the morning, if you can sneak out by the shore before the day starts that is a must. 30 minutes from Acadia, 45 minutes from Bar Harbor, 15-20 from Ellisworth.

We came last year 2021 and liked it here because of the staff, seaonal campers were friendly, and most of the campsites are pull through. Yes, we came back this year 2022 and still love this place.

We rented apartment 2 for 5 nights. We are not an experienced campground family so we were not sure exactly what to expect. I have to say that this was everything that we were looking for. It was quiet and peaceful and the lake is GORGEOUS. Everyone was friendly (except one camper who yelled at my husband to slow down because he was doing 7mph instead of 5mph, but I get it). The Staff was friendly and the facilities were clean. If I had to give a critique, it's that I wished there were more planned activities for the kids. The playground was great for the little ones and my son had a great time on the basketball court and fishing. Prices are very reasonable and the camp store had everything you could possibly need. I would definitely visit again.
