Great restaurant, delicious food and a very nice band. Patrons sit a long time downstairs near the band, so if you're coming for the music, arrive early for a seat. Additional seating is upstairs.

I cannot say enough how much I love this place. Great vibe, music that oozes DC, an incredible and friendly staff, but not too fancy to just pop in on your way home. I am always telling people I meet on my travels they should come here when they come to DC.

Standard. Social distancing is enforced, tables are placed 6 feet apart inside and outside, everyone is required to wear a mask when they're not eating or drinking, and no parties over the limited amount are accepted.
I know this is not the best answer, but there is not a best night. The artists are booked in advance and could alternate genre on Friday and Saturday nights. I've been when there is Jazz on Friday night and I've been when there is blues on Friday night. Best to go online and view lineup schedule or call the restaurant to inquire. Hope this helps, Enjoy!

You get lucky once in a while and find a spot in front, but typically you'd have to park a block or two with it being U St, the best bet is to really uber or take the train
