Absolutely beautiful lake, nature learning center, trails and fun in the midst of an otherwise busy town! Definitely check it out soon. We came with a group and did a guided canoe tour, a fire building talk and cooked hot dogs!

Let's go for a Walk, Bike or a Boat Ride

I absolutely love this park! It's a great place to spend a sunny day with your family! The park has boat rentals, and fishing passes. It also has tons of walking / hiking trails all round the lake. For kids it has a giant sandbox and outdoor center. This is one of the greatest spots in Fredericksburg to have fun outdoors. Recommend it's if you are either just stopping through, or if you are a permanent resident. It's a beautiful site! The lake is beautiful, and has multiple docks to go fishing at or just to sight see.

Nice quiet location for relaxing, fishing or canoeing

You can easily aquire a state fishing license online
Yes, typically, but not right now. There are signs up that say the marina is closed due to budget issues, not health issues. There are no employees there, bathrooms are closed. But it is still very nice and peaceful
They have their own canoe's rented.
Driving, probably, camping, no. I have never seen any camping area or hookups for RVs. The road down to the lake is fairly steep. People use it for boat trailers so it might work but there is limited parking.
Yes you can for a 3 dollar fishing fee, don't forget to ask anyone at the front window or green shert for a pool clamp for securing you rod to vessel
Yes. Only electric is allowed but they give you 2 batteries so you won't get stranded. I've never used the 2nd battery.
No, they don't allow overnight camping.
There's no camp ground there. Just the walking trails and the reservoir, and the nature center.
They are all great trails... But... The Turkey Ridge trail is very nice, but parts are a little steep. But they're is also a self-guided tour (map available by the nature center) It also take you out to the Mine Run trail, that's a long, pretty trail that parallels the road. The Silo trail takes you up to the old farm silo (which is pretty neat) and coming back you can see beautiful views of the lake from the Hidden Creek and Osprey Point trails.
Don't think maybe give them a call to be sure
You would have to call Parks and Recreation for that answer. I pass it every day as I live on the road that it's on but I've not been. Good luck
