I could not be happier with my experience with Dr. Isaac! I am in my late 20s and was starting to see wrinkles in my forehead before I got my first Botox treatment a few months ago. I was very hesitant and nervous about the experience but Dr. Isaac was patient and answered all of my questions. The results were amazing! She also prescribed a few treatments for hormonal breakouts and my skin has not been this clear in years! A few other added bonuses about the clinic: - They are super easy to schedule with and very friendly - I am in and out in 15 minutes - Their partner pharmacy (Care Connect Pharmacy) is SO easy to work with and ships prescriptions quickly and with ease I'd definitely recommend Dr. Isaac - even if just for a consultation!

Dr Isaac and Sheeda really made my first time getting treatment the best possible experience. They answered all of my questions and made me very comfortable. Dr Isaac asked me to hold a mirror as we discussed areas of concern during pretreatment and during the botox injections. Her assistant was very also knowledgeable. I really appreciate the doctor’s attention to my treatment goals and her guidance through treatment. Highly recommended

Questions & Answers

If I start getting BOTOX in my 20s, will that make my wrinkles worse later on?

MI Skin Dermatology Center: Melda Isaac, MD | Apr 15, 2022
MI Skin Dermatology Center: Melda Isaac, MD | Apr 15, 2022

No. In fact, it may have a reverse effect. The more time BOTOX is in effect, the less time your skin spends creased, giving wrinkles less chance to become deeply etched into your skin. Should you decide to stop BOTOX at any time, your signs of aging will resume developing at a normal rate.

How many units of BOTOX will I need?

MI Skin Dermatology Center: Melda Isaac, MD | Apr 15, 2022
MI Skin Dermatology Center: Melda Isaac, MD | Apr 15, 2022

Your BOTOX dosage will vary depending on your targeted area. Smaller areas such as crow’s feet may need 5 to 15 units, whereas larger areas like the forehead may need 10 to 30 units. Dr. Isaac has extensive experience with BOTOX and will recommend the right dosage to create your desired results without ever making you appear unnatural or frozen.

MI Skin Dermatology Center: Melda Isaac, MD | Nov 16, 2021

BOTOX®, Dysport®, and XEOMIN® are different formulations of the same type of neurotoxin: botulinum toxin A. While they work in essentially the same way, they do have subtle differences. Dysport, for example, spreads more than BOTOX, while XEOMIN contains fewer proteins. Ultimately, the best way to understand the right product for you is to consult with a board-certified dermatologist like Dr. Isaac.

Stretch marks can be treated with certain lasers and microneedling. There is NO way to completely get rid of a stretch mark, but it can be greatly improved by 30-50% after a series of treatments. We recommend scheduling a FREE consultation with one of our medical assistant for accurate pricing.
