Damon Point has two unique beaches, soft clean sand, lots of drift logs to explore, and easy to transverse grassy dunes. Not much usually in terms of seashells, but the beach combing is still fun. Pretty stones can always be found. A wonderful summer beach for families on warm days, for walking on in any weather, and amazing during winter storms (watch out for waves, stay away from logs and be very careful!!)

Beautiful area, camp area, lots of beach area and driftwood. Been coming to Ocean Shores for years but have never been to Damon Point. Decent parking, wide open, great views.

Lovely little nature Reserve, where you can walk alongside the beach, enjoying the views! A sign asks you to not bring dogs beyond a certain point not to disturb the nesting birds. Great for a walk with the family!

Amazing trail, once a State Park, now DNR. Once connected to the mainlands by a spit, but storms took out the connecting road...however there are still a road on the island. It is 4 miles of hiking to complete with amazing views of the Cascades including Mount Rainier. Protection Island had wonderful beds of agates and the tip of the island.
