This week I visited the campground for the first time. Its very impressive, very large, great amenities and large spacious, mostly shady campsites. However the locals, meaning the mosquitoes, were out in mass to see that you had the most miserable experience ever. What happened to the spray program the state used to have for Eastside parks. Thus only 4 stars.

It's a state owned park so a Discover Pass is needed which you can purchase at the park. Great place to camp and a lot of shoreline along the Confluence. A small swimming area is great for the Littles and the views of the Columbia and the Valley are awesome. Bike friendly.

This is the state park Washington should strive for all of their parks to be as good as. Security, beauty, acres of grass, shade trees, easy river access, peacefulness. This park has it all. We will be back every year to spend at least a week.

Surprisingly nice campground. Big spaces, lots of green, nestled within an agricultural industrial area. It’s well buffered and sits along a 10 mile walking and riding trail. And just south off the trail is a wildlife and wetland preserve. I spotted a nesting eagle and —- pretty amazing —-a young moose.

Saddle rock, sqillchuck state park. Swakane canyon road. Schaller road near black lake. All great places to go.
Yes, on the northwest portion of the park. I think it's around $25 per night.
I don't think the discover pass covers camping fees, only day use.
No free camping. Discovery Pass required for access only - overnight camping rates apply.
Black pine horse camp in Leavenworth is the only one I've heard of in the area
If you go online
Tenting is allowed. They have tent pads that you have to keep them on, so it doesn't kill the grass and to keep the tent dry from the irrigation. Reservations and pricing found here... https://washington.goingtocamp.com/home
3 minutes for 50 cents
Yes, but need to be on leash anytime outside, clean up after pets and keep them quiet.
Not required but advised.
Yes there is but I can't remember the name of the campground you will have to ask one of the local people Fred Meyer is a good place to ask.
