Seems to be issue with staff and personnel regarding grass issue. Does anyone ever read these comments? CUT THE GRASS FIR YOUR GUEST!!!! Love this park. Just wish they would cut the grass before guest arrive. It has rained and understand but it’s awful having to deal with weeds on our site. You know what I’m sayin!

Sites were spacious and level. Bath house was really nice, single shower rooms with toilet and sink similar to hotel bathroom. Grass did need cutting pretty bad, must be normal as several sites used weed trimmers to clean up the area around their fire pits. You get a nine page rule book about how to keep your site but they don't bother cutting the grass... other than that it is a nice spot to camp if you're in the area.

Super expensive for a disappointing experience. Not sure how anyone is supposed to enjoy camping in knee high grass… the lots can be roomy and it’s fairly quiet but the shower houses and laundry facilities are disgusting. The customer service isn’t very nice and although they tell you they have no availability, it’s not true. For the price you pay you’d think the place would be taken care of and there’d be at least some sort of amenities. Its ideal for people passing through but not if you plan to stay more than 2 days. Chances are they will make you switch spots by then anyways.

The RV area is laid out around your standard kind of loop. It appears that just about all the spaces are pretty darn level. There's plenty of room at each spot, and it's very well shaded. No worries about being in what resembles an open parking lot at this RV Park. The reservations area has very experienced and very helpful people working at it who work to keep their patients and explain everything in a nice manner. They also will give out brochures etc of the post so that you can find your way around. As for the park itself, it is well shaded and reasonably spacious. We were able to get a space about a 60 second walk away from the hard bathrooms and laundry area. Just about every space that I saw seem to be very level which is very pleasing to see. I'd consider this a great place to stay whether you have only a few days need, or in our case - more than a few days. Two thumbs up.

Last week someone told me they had long-term rates, but this week someone else says no just the daily rate. Would be close to $1500 a month.
Yes
A sponsor is typically a family member such as a spouse or parent
It is open all year round, however there's a 60-day limit where you must take at least five nights away. So by definition of your question, you cannot stay there for an entire year going to the fact that you'd have to move several times. I'm sure they'd be happy to have you as much as you care to stay though.
Cheryl, you would need a code to enter the camp gate Most riders wait just outside the camp on Wilson st. On the ball field.

If you want to make it to Hopkins it will take 30 mins starting at 0630 or 50 mins at 0715. Parking at Hopkins gets tougher around 0900. Camp Meade is the cheapest around although there water remains questionable and no wifi or Cable. Go army

Yes to pets. As far as living there, the answer is kind of. I can't remember if it's every 30 days or every 60 days that you have to leave, but you can come right back after 2 or 3 days
Is this RV park open to the public or military only
Correct, as long as i know there is no limit. We stsyed for 15 days during AT
Yes. Open field camping with improvised electrical but adjacent to clean bath house. Vehicles must remain in nearby parking lots.
I am not sure how long they are in total, but they have back-in slots and pull-throughs. The pull-throughs would probably accommodate your trailer with the truck attached. They do have longterm rates, but there is a limit on how long you can stay. I believe it's 120 days if you are active duty. I will try to post a photo of their rates.
You will need to Uber or taxi to the train station. The train will take you to DC and from there you can get to all the cool sites with a short walk or a really short Uber.
$36 a night, $210 weekly
