Charter buses are not allowed, neither are school buses, public transport, tour buses, or any vehicle weighing over 10 tons. You can use the Key Bridge (US-29) or Roosevelt Bridge (I-66) or I-395 bridge to cross instead.

No Arlington Memorial Bridge is NOT closed but there IS construction. Due to construction, lane pattern fluctuate morning/evening rush hour times M-F, not sure about weekends. This has been going on for several months & will continue through 2021 (I believe.) Impacting traffic issues on & around Arlington Memorial Bridge is construction of Kennedy Center expansion.
