Barry was the best. We learned so much from him. We enjoyed listening to him and his jokes. Every time we passed a statue he would stop and tell us who it was and tell us about the person. He told us about every monument and museum. He kept in mind my mom had mobility issues and always positioned the pedicab at the monuments and statues so she could get a good look at everything from her seat. We had a folding transport wheelchair and he put it behind where he was sitting and took it off when we wanted to get out and look around. We booked the limo pedicab and it fit my mom, my daughter and myself comfortably with room for our bags of water and the bag of things I may need for my mom. I highly recommend Barry and using the limo cab. Next time we go to DC we will definitely give him a call. Thank Barry. We really enjoyed our day.

What a great idea! Our family of 4 with two kids (8 and 10) thought a tour in a "carriage" would be a fun and easy way to start our trip in DC. We booked with Barry for our first day thinking we would get a basic idea of where things were and what we wanted to go back to ourselves later. Even before arriving in DC Barry was giving us ideas and suggestion on what type of tricycle would meet our needs and prioritizing what we wanted to see. We opted for the "limo" tricycle and a two hour time frame. Immediately upon meeting our family Barry engaged with our kids telling jokes and asking them questions to set them at ease and include them. We got to see and stop at all the places important to us. And so many we did not know would be so fun. Every moment Barry was telling us the history or special information about what we saw. He made our trip special and so better than what we could have done on our own in 10 trips. Thank you Adventure DC Tricycle Tours!!!

We had a fantastic time with Barry seeing the Monuments and Memorials! He communicated so well with us leading up to the tour and then was right at the top of the escalator from the metro waiting for us! The tour length depends on what you would like to see — plus the route we take and the vehicle we use. Generally, our tours go from at least two hours to just under five hours. That being said, since this is a private tour, every tour is completely customized to what you and your group desire.

Yes! We have ample time to explore the memorials you wish, and you take photos of the ones you like. If you know you're going to spend longer than 15 minutes at each memorial, you will want to budget more time in advance for your tour. Usually, you can decide on the tour itself if you would like to extend the tour.
