VA department of health professions They take forever to do anything and give no results Don't go out of your way to pay taxes in this state Be wary of VA health care and counseling they do not have a proper board or government supervision This review will stay up until I see change

I’m only giving a 5 star review for a kind woman named TRACIE BAINES- I have gotten the run around from the Virgina board of dentistry in regards to my out of state licensure and they helped me resolve the issue after physically coming to the location to handle it. I have been waiting for almost a month. Thank you so much for the assistance!!!

I visited the DHP on August 10th, and my experience was absolutely wonderful. The security officer was very pleasant and helpful. He directed me to Ms. Baines. She was absolutely amazing. She inquired about my business concerns and addressed it expeditiously with the utmost respect and polite customer service. I was very pleased and to see such professional behavior! Great job DHP administration!!!!!

If it is legitimate private duty then get the one who pays you to type a letter stating that employ you and a list of all duties and dates to and from that you worked and mail it in with application and money order or go to the office if you live near it. But yoy can always call them to verify if you can renew
I am a CNA know when I took the training there was a requirement. We must attend certain amount off hours it was mandatory. I was in California it was requirement. If I were you will call Virginia board of nursing and ask them. It might gone take 30 to 45 minutes. Please be patient and ask them. They will tell you exactly what need to be done.
That's a question for the Board themselves, its all dependent on what the "ding" is exactly, how long ago it was, etc.
Yes, registered nurses can work in any state IF they are licensed appropriately and meet the requirements and rules of that state
Due to the increase in Covid numbers and holiday season most are working from home. So please check your email for further information or email the board if you have questions.
Contact the Board for your particular license (Board of Nursing, for example).
Please send copies of your documents either next day with signature (FedEx, UPS) OR REGULAR MAIL WITH CERTIFIED-RETURN RECIPT TO THE Board that your license is under
Apply for licensure in South Carolina by contacting South Carolina Board of Nursing; let them know you are certified in Virginia.
The Virginia Board of Medicine licenses chiropractors who may practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia, United States.
If you are a new grad, call the board and let them know...could just be a glitch.
Only the board can make that decision. It will depend on time, nature of the charges, steps that you have taken to insure that you will never repeat the behavior that led to the conviction.
Yes, just be sure to address it to the Board of Counseling
If you have a current certification that is active and in good standing in another state, you may visit our website and complete a cna endorsement application
