New member here. Great club. Better than a lot of other private courses I’ve been to. Did not regret the decision I made. People are nice, staff is helpful, and conditions are great.

Greens were burned up and bumpy

I have never been so disappointed when returning to a club. I've been fortunate to play this track multiple times over the last decade. Was always known for having the best greens in the area, and being one of the toughest tracks in Virginia. Last time I played was after playing Plainfield CC and I thought Lakeside's greens were better. This time greens were maybe rolling an 8, were criminally soft, (made a ball mark from 10 yards off multiple times), fairways were soft, and yielded flyers. Bunkers, ugh... Could go on and on. Got some backstory from the group I played with about what was going on. The people in leadership roles at this club need to step aside. The. Atmosphere was bad, course was bad, clubhouse was disorganized. The decisions made here recently are absolutely mind blowing. Not one for bad reviews but Jesus... Could be one of the best clubs in the state, but now it's not even top 10 in Richmond. Very frustrating.

Lakeside Park Club is a nice club. There is a pool ( open in the summer) and golf course. Prior to the pandemic, there was a restaurant. I believe that they are using food trucks now. You need to be a member or the guest of a member to visit.
Hi Brian, Yes, we have a wonderful practice range that features a short game area, large grass tee and a covered hitting area on mats. Thanks Randy for answering as well! Brian, Unfortunately we do not have a practice bunker.
Yes, they have fishing competitions for kids sometimes.
This is a membership country club that has golf, tennis, and social club with a pool, grill and bar. Great place.
