Went to their annual Wild-Game dinner in January 2020, which was extremely well attended (typically third Saturday each January), and had a fantastic spread of food -- they also do raffles, and this year they had one of the pastors give a Bible-based devotional. Found out afterwards that some friends of mine had been asked to leave before the end of the dinner, and from their account, it sounded like it was their complexion (skin color? - some of the friends were of hispanic/Latin descent), and their religious attire ( some of them wore a Sikh turban) that was objectionable to the staff/pastoral team. I had been under the impression that this was a dinner open to the community, and therefore welcomed people of all faiths... and I certainly saw others in the crowd wearing hats, etc -- but it seems like these friends were singled out for being non-white, and potentially non-protestant? This is a religious organization, and as such they *absolutely should be able to associate with whom they choose* -- but after learning of them asking my friends to leave, I didn't feel welcome either, despite the fact that I 'blend in' much easier than they do. Whether this is right or wrong, I'll leave up to others to decide -- but people who don't fit the mold of a 'Caucasian protestant' should probably be aware that you might not get a warm welcome here, if you come as you are.

Gigantic institution and yet they do not recycle. That is just a minor "issue" with this church ( though I feel it is a major concern, and an unacceptable disgrace on their part) I won't get into the politics here, however I would not recommend this establishment to kind humans seeking genuine connection.
