Where to start! From the beginning they were so nice! Very welcoming. We were on our honeymoon so we got a nice surprise.tgey had left a bottle of cidar 2 glasses and there were rose pedals all over it was beautiful.the room was so clean the bed was super comfy! Very romantic! They 24 pool was amazing and so clean! And the breakfast omg yum! Best fluffy eggs! Waffles were delicious. My husband and I are hoping to spend our first anniversary there! Thank you Best Western Team for making our stay one to remember!

Best Western Astoria: Great views as this hard to find hotel sits off the beaten path near the water but at $450/night is not worth it as the Cons outweighs the Pros: 1. Not in downtown Astoria. Nothing around within walking distance. 2. Very dated motel (not hotel). Vending machines don't even accept credit cards. 3. Poor shower water pressure. Older in room furniture. 4. Pool & Jacuzzi are basic, nothing spectacular. Pros: 1. Included hot breakfast comes with waffles, sausage, bacon, juices, bagels. 2. Customer service is excellent, very friendly staff, professional, engaging in conversation. My guess is they are stunned customers are paying that much to stay there & feel guilty for gouging. 3. Free spacious outdoor parking lot. 4. Walking path along the water. 5. Very dog friendly. Staff had treats, conveniently located & clean relieve area for pets. 6. Complimentary in-room WiFi was stable & fast. All the bars, restaurants, cool shops, sights are in town. This out of the way motel is not worth the money you will spend just for a water view. You won't get the Astoria experience.

This hotel was comfortable and very affordable for the quality of stay. We appreciated the delicious options at breakfast, including eggs, waffles, breakfast meats, etc. The breakfast area, however, was VERY small. Definitely needs an update. The pool was fun, but chilly. We would stay here again!
