I felt very unwelcome my visit. The cashier asked me in a snotty voice if I wanted paper or plastic, and that was all. The employee standing at the bagging area dug through my bag, grabbed the receipt and looked it up and down for several seconds, finally saying he was just making sure I the coupon I’d used was done correctly. Which he should’ve known from, you know, watching and listening while the snotty cashier scanned the coupon and pointed at card reader. I don’t know why he pawed through my groceries that had just been scanned and bagged by the snotty cashier but the coupon excuse was ridiculous. Not even a snotty thanks” when I left either. Very unsettling to feel that unwelcome by two employees.

Just went to Albertsons for our week's groceries. None of the rewards discounts worked, and we did not get rewards credit for our purchases. We had to go back twice to customer service to show them the sale prices that we did not get! The employees were polite and gave us the discounts after we showed them our receipt, but we still did not get any reward credits for over $200 worth of groceries. Maybe it's time to change to a different grocery store.

On Friday, 5/12, my granddaughter & I went to the local bakery at the store where we usually shop, to order a birthday cake. Not one employee acknowledged our presence. So we headed to Albertson's on Barrows. We browsed the examples in the case. It didn't take long for Vanessa to greet us. She cheerfully grabbed a clipboard to take our order & repeated our requests to insure accuracy. I arrived on Saturday afternoon to pick up the cake . Dianna greeted me & presented the 24 cupcake/cake. It was created exactly to our requests. Excellent customer service/satisfaction with the fulfillment of our birthday cake order.

All I can say is CHECK YOUR RECEIPT before leaving the store. This happens constantly - you get charged a higher price than what is advertised (and no the price listed was not expired). For 8 weeks Humm drinks were buy 6 @ $3.14ea but they came up at $3.49ea. Each time an employee has to walk over to check the display & usually comes back grumbling under their breath, only to do some math on their phone & give me an override. I did this for 8 weeks & each time said why doesn’t someone fix this?🤷🏼‍♀️ Another example - in the produce section they have pomegranate seeds in a plastic container-Below them a sign “sale 2 for 5” I think great! NOT GREAT! They rang up as $4.99 EACH. I’m then told its another brand that is on sale EXCEPT they don’t have any other brands there. PRETTY MISLEADING!!! God forbid some of us actually watch our money. Asking “some” employees for a refund or adjustment is painful! They act as if “I” have done something wrong & am an inconvenience. There are a few people there who just SHOULD NOT work with people PERIOD! You get grumbling or the dreaded eye roll 🙄 OR my favorite they just completely ignore you. 🤦🏼‍♀️ I never thought I’d be willing to pay higher prices for just being treated kindly & with some respect like (New Seasons) for example. ******************************************* UPDATE: Fast Forward So the pomegranate cups have been listed at $3.99ea for over the past 4 months but ring up at $4.99ea. I’ve had 5 people tell me they will get this fixed. I’m assuming this procedure is much like brain surgery since its so difficult to adjust to the correct price. I have become wiser now & when shopping for my weekly supply, I take a picture of the listed price (to save them time for not having to walk over to the display) & then ask them to give me an override to credit the difference. Comedy at its finest! Have a lovely day!
