We have loved visiting Frying Pan Farm for years, so when time came to plan our son's birthday I inquired about planning, then set the date. Everyone here was so helpful in making the day memorable for all who came! We learned a bit about farm life, animals and took a wagon ride around the entire farm -- even the adults raced about how much fun they had! They set up a tent, tables and games for us to use at the party. I'd HIGHLY recommend asking about having your next party here. But if that's not your thing then definitely come with the family for a visit!

The dog agility class here is great. The best I’ve taken.

Free to park and walk around, see the animals and playground. They do have a carousel that you need to buy tickets for. They also have a little market/gift shop.
I don't believe they travel at all.
There isn't a lot of shade so it can get pretty hot. We like to skip the middle of the day. Spring is fun because of all the baby animals.
There are horseback riding lessons and therapeutic riding programs available through Fairfax Country ParkTakes. However, there is not horseback riding available to public use.
Yes. On Easter Sunday the hours are from 11:30 am to 4:30 pm.
Frying Pan Farm Park has multiple rental facilities for gatherings. The Visitor Center has an 1,800 square foot auditorium that can accommodate 110 to 200 people, depending upon the arrangement of tables and chairs. The center also has a 600-square foot classroom that is ideal for meetings of 40 to 50 people. There is an outdoor picnic pavilion with electric outlets. Its 18 tables comfortably seat up to 180 people. The park has facilities and programs available for birthday parties. The cost of the picnic area ranges from $50 to $335 depending on your needs. The cost of the visitor center ranges from $30 to $480 depending on your needs and the date of the event. The park also offers programs for birthday parties. Restrooms are available.
Call them up.. it is depends on weather
There is a Latin band (Incendio) next Thursday at 7:30. Dont know about a fest
Not that I'm aware of. They do have farm-fresh eggs most days, plus grains from Colvin Run Mill. Their cornmeal makes great cornbread.
Yes, all pets are allowed there, assuming they are kept on a leash.
UPDATED: Just drove by last night and updated my answer below... If you are coming from the Rt 28/Centreville Road direction, it will the the next left after the Frying Pan Park entrance on your left on West Ox Road. If you are coming from the Fairfax County Parkway direction, it will be the first right after you cross the Monroe Street traffic light on West Ox Road. If you see the Frying Pan Park entrance on your right, you've passed it. The entrance to the Frying Pan Park Farm has a big sign that say "Kidwell Farm - Frying Pan Park" with a gravel road and parking area. The entrance with the Auditorium that you are looking for has a big wooden sign that say "Frying Pan Farm Park", and this is the entrance you want. The road and the parking lot is paved. The Visitors Center is in the back, on the right, behind the first parking lot.
Sully Historic Site in Chantilly is the closest.
You need to contact the park to ask them. Random people who've visited the park won't have that information.
