Attorney Catheline aka Cat was amazing and helped me through my case and made it clear I saw all angles. She became like a sister for me and has guided & encouraged me an made me feel better about my process every step of the way. I am beyond thankful for her for being by my side to help me fight!

Although they were unable to represent me due to the location I needed representation in, Susan Burch was most helpful in helping me finding me someone I could go to in my area. She was an excellent listener, gave great advice and was so caring! I would definitely use this group if I needed representation in Duval County!

They roped me in with “ We are here to help you through this difficult time”. What I actually received minus $15,000 later from this firm, lost everything. After raising my children 18 years as an educated stay at home mom, a joint decision made when the kids were young, the firm continued to advice me to settle. My actual lawyer did nothing. My divorce was during the beginnings of Covid lockdown. I never saw the lawyer, everything was video conferencing. She did not fight for the work I had done all 18 years, but rather continually advised me to “ settle”. Finally during mediation, as I realized everything was lost, I told my lawyer please focus and stop playing with your dog!!!!! I’m writing this review in hopes someone like myself will be warned and find a lawyer that listens and fights for you not a complacent waste of money. Good luck, save yourself money, time and harder days ahead and do NOT hire this firm! Find a law firm that will actually advise you as a woman especially if you are like myself and have supported your family for 18 years staying home not earning money. Now being in the work force for the last 2 and a half years, I realize that my income is at the entry level. I’m almost 50 making the same income as kids just graduating college because this law firm did not fight for my income or my time and work dedicated to my husband and family. Now I’m paying for it as well as the cost of living in this state. Please think and check around before you settle on this law firm.

I called to talk with someone I needed help and still do, transferred me to Susan B. who is some kind of advocate, and she was going to refer someone to me by email. I waited over a week and she finally called me and said she was emailing me a very good referral. I do appreciate the help to have someone in another county. Thanks

Yes, we charge a fee for a consultation and that fee is applied as a credit in the event you retain us at your consultation.

Can I speak with Ms quick about my case before deciding if retaining her is a god fit for us?

Lisa Jessamine | Oct 13, 2018

During our initial consultation, we evaluate whether or not your case is the right fit for our office and help clients determine the best course of action in choosing representation. We also determine what attorney in the office is best suited to be your lead counsel, based upon personalities, experience with the issues, opposing counsel and Judge assigned. Generally, Heather does not meet with individuals prior to their hiring the firm. We have found that meeting with our director of client relations for the initial consultation is the best way to serve our clients.
