We check that all hardware is functioning properly, scan for infections, check for corruption of the operating system, check that all updates and firmware are current!
USB-A is the standard rectangular USB connection seen on almost every modern computer. USB-B is typically used to connect printers to computers, it has a smaller “semi” square shape on the printer end. USB-C is a newer, faster USB cable capable of charging and powering many devices and displaying to modern monitors, it’s also the same charger type as Samsung cell phones.
A number of things can cause static build up, keeping the system clean and clear of dust can certainly help quite a bit, as can disabling sleep mode through system settings.
Avoid clicking links through emails and ads that may popup on websites, vigilance is key. If you happen to think your computer is infected, bring it in and we can diagnose and remove that pesky malware.
