I've been using Delaware Valley VCA for over 25 years. The staff, and especially, Dr. Beth Urbaniak, are excellent! I would recommend them to anyone who has a pet in need of urgent and general care. They provide a personal touch and compassion that you don't always see.

We took our 2 and half year old dog in for a Bordetella shot and wellness check up tonight. Dr. Urbaniak came in and instantly told us we "must" get all of these other types of shots, was very bullish towards us and not at all welcoming. She kept cutting my husband off mid sentence and wasn't listening to anything we were saying throughout the visit. My husband had to correct her multiple times because she wasn't listening. She was unprofessional and inconsistent with what she was telling us such as how much weight our dog should loose, how much to feed her until we reiterated it and asked her to explain again. She made an odd comment and asked if I was pregnant and I said yes. She said "oh well then you must get this certain vaccine as it can be harmful to humans" She insisted cutting the matted hair behind our dogs ear and our dog was not responding well and did not want it done but kept pursing it even though our dog was clearly uncomfortable. It took my husband to yell "okay that's enough!" to make her stop. Then she got up, was talking mid sentence and walked out the door without saying anything to us and never came back in the room. Then we realized that she didn't complete the wellness visit and didn't check our dogs mouth, eyes or tell us anything about her heartrate etc. only ears. So Anthony went back to ask her to check those and she stated that it was already done quick when it clearly wasn't as we were sitting in the room. It was the most bizarre vet experience. The only positive thing we will say is Anthony was very helpful. My husband and I are now going to look for another vet company moving forward.

We had such a wonderful visit at this facility. Everyone was so kind, helpful, and knowledgeable. They helped our big boy with his feet, and even gave him some nice treats. The matching bandanas for our dog Samson and our son Declan has been a big hit! We will for sure be back! ❤️
