Such a great environment to be in!! The students are very nice and welcoming every time I go to Dudley Beauty College. The service is excellent, they also do a great job making sure no one catches covid, they take your temperature as soon as you walk in, all the instructors and students wear there masks. The students make sure you are very comfortable as soon as you walk in. I’ve never had any issues when i come here, i love that they offer more than one service, i can get my hair and nails done for a reasonable price. Overall a 10/10 place for me personally.

I made an appointment earlier this week. I called to ask a question while on my way to my appointment and the nail instructor informed me that the nail tech wasn’t there. When I asked when she’s be there, her response was, “I’m unsure”. I asked her if she could call her and she finally did only to tell me that I couldn’t come in when I was almost there. You would think with a name like Dudley, they would be more professional and organized than this. Save yourself the pain and headache and just go to a professional.

I Went Here To Get A Virgin Relaxer And FingerWaves , And The Service Was Trash And The Instructor NAME COOK AND A Student Did A Poor Job On My Hair And Then Rushed My Hair Because They Was Bout To Close Also Didn’t Dry My Hair Properly And I Call Next Day To Express My Complaint To The Instructor Cook And She Talked Over Me I Couldn't Barely Get A Word In Also I Had Mention I Wanted My Hair Redone Or Refund And She Told Me She Would Get Back To Me And Never Did And I Call Again And She Said She Would Get Back With Me Regarding Me Getting My Hair Redone And Never Did I Will Never Ever Come Back To This Low Class Robbing School Professional 0 Service 0 And The Instructor Had A Nerve To Say She Been A Stylist For 24 Years But Mess My Hair Up Hair Only Lasted 1 Day If I Was You Guys I Wouldn’t Come Here Then Charge Me 75 For Some Weak FingerWaves That lasted A Day I Could’ve Went To Regular Salon For That Price This Horrible School A Rip Off Don’t Go Here

Elder Lady, I don't know if she was Cis or Trans with a wave nouveau. (Shields) has bad customer service and rude for no reason. Walked into Dudley's today (Wednesday) during business hours 4pm* to speak with Mr. Dudley or Pam in the office. Neither were in. The rude lady said "see we make appointments over here" in a extremely NASTY way. SMH... I said Ohhh u have to make an appointment to talk to Mr. Dudley she said yes. I had to cut her short and say ok. ( why would she go Will Smith??? gosh I didn't know ) Well I went to the website dudleybeautyschool-dc & I did not see anywhere where it said Dudley Beauty School or Mr. Dudley does not allow walk ins during normal business hours but only appointments. If that is indeed your policy please update the site so no one else will experience the negative nasty talk from Shields who expects non students to magically know an update that had not been posted to the website. Oftentimes when people have a business for every brick you build there is an employee tearing down your reputation, mistreating people, going against your business motto and ethics. Most times you don't even know the sneaky ways of the employee. People tell everybody but the owner. Not me... She is turning people away from the school talking and acting like she's in front of the D St shelter. A cankerworm spirit eating away from within SMH.. don't say I didn't warn ya!
