It was our first time picking strawberries yesterday. We had a blast! Get the darker ones - they're sweeter. The staff was friendly. Note: Strawberry Picking is now on their other farm in Highland, MD. Visit their website for details. I made a short YouTube video to know what to expect. On YouTube, search "Strawberry Picking at Gorman Farms".

I love this CSA! The flower and herb garden are a wonderful value add.

I love this CSA. Love the flower and herb garden and the flexibility. However I can only recommend the Full Share and not the Medium. Last year we did full share and it was amazing, but a little too much for me to keep up with the prep and cooking/preserving. So this year we did the medium share, expecting a little less; it is definitely more manageable for me, but I am disappointed in the lack of variety and most weeks feel I'm not getting nearly my time and money's worth as the full share. It's not just smaller quantities, it's fewer types of items resulting in less flexibility for items I'm allergic to, and I'm required to go to straight to the farmers market and fill in all the items I am missing from the full share, doubling my errands and my costs. Medium share backfired for me. If time and energy are a factor, gear up for the Full Share, or just make a single trip to a local farmers' market and be done with it.

No peaches here. It is a csa only.
You should contact the farm about possible school trips. I don't know if they are open to the general public or only co-op members for strawberry picking. They don't have a farm store on site
It's best to check to check their Facebook page whenever you're making a trip because if they've been picked heavily one day they may not open the next. But they posted on their page today May 27th they'll be open 10a-4p
It's a CSA that also does you pick strawberries. If you're talking about the strawberries, emily is correct. If you're talking about the CSA, you pay for the whole growing season upfront and then pick up your produce once a week for the season
Nope. The closest pumpkin patch is probably at Clark's Elioak Farm.
