So many places say their ice cream is homemade and farm-fresh ingredients. Sadly, most of them are still garbage ingredients. However, South Mountain Creamery actually takes that to heart! My wife is allergic to corn syrup and it is extremely hard to find ice cream without it. But South Mountain doesn’t use it in nearly everything I have seen!! It is amazing, even their caramel didn’t have corn syrup! Thank you!

What an absolutely beautiful place. I came to feed the calves and they are just the cutest! Thank goodness they sell their products at my local Harris Teeter because their chocolate milk is the best on earth. On-site they have some delicious ice cream and their other dairy products for sale as well. All the staff here was very friendly and helpful. I’d come back again just to feed those sweet calves again.

As it says on their website you can see the milking process and pet the calves all week long. Only the store is closed on Mondays.
I have mine delivered to work weekly, no box needed. And Hometown Harvest has great foods too!

Yes you can definitely use your own cooler, we recommend a hard sided cooler if you’re using your own!

Check their web for hours. Super yummy ice cream! Even if you miss the feeding you can walk the barn with the calves. Their adorable!

Hi Marghi, we use HTST pasteurization for our milk which is better for you than ultra-pasteurized. Pasteurization is required by Maryland law. Some customers have been successful making soft cheese with out whole cream top. We offer home delivery to your area, all you need to do is register on our website!
You can pickup or have delivered glass milk bottles to most of central Maryland through their delivery service with a small minimum. Milk bottles do have the core charge which is pass along everytime you exchange them for full.
