Delaware Mineralogical Society had a lecture on vulcanism after museum hours. I’ll definitely be back to check out the museum with the family.

Visited on a rainy Sunday. Was not as nice as others I've visited (near beach towns in NC, for example). Had stuff for kids to do, but as a senior that did not apply to me. No senior discount, AAA, or other discounted tickets available.

I really enjoyed my visit at the Delaware Museum of Nature and Science. The exhibits, including the Delaware and global exhibit, are interesting and relevant with a focus on conservation. The tour guides do a really good job of bringing the material and content of the exhibit closer to the audience and providing more insights. Moreover, everything looks very modern and is interactive which makes the experience even better. Cannot recommend it enough!

If you are under 60 years old but are still a grandparent do you still qualify for the grandparent membership?

Heather Gallaway | Oct 12, 2020
Delaware Museum of Nature & Science | Oct 12, 2020

Hi Heather, Absolutely! For events, you'd register as an adult, not a senior, but any grandparent is welcome to purchase a grandparent membership. Best wishes, Jennifer
