Antiwhite establishment. I expect and don't care that most will find my insight fringe. The illustration exhibit is particularly blatant with this, wherein they blast very audibly through several rooms a looping video about how oppressive and evil white men are while denigrating the very work they're show casing, because it was created mostly by white men. The volume was so loud I couldn't even focus and read the descriptions of artists who weren't white men that they stupidly placed right by the television. The designers of this exhibit are so vehemently spiteful in their convictions that they've made it impossible to enjoy the work they're trying to raise awareness of. This goes without mention the very clear skew that all of the written descriptions have. It's less of a museum and more of a political soap box for very resentful and hate filled individuals.

Over the years the Delaware Art Museum has only improved. Their gardens are beautiful, the exhibits are thoughtful and amazing and the docents are always ready to help. Highly recommend this local gem. Don't forget to explore and find the meditation garden around back.
