IF I COULD GIVE STARS TO AN EMPLOYEE 5 STARS IT WOULD BE KAREN COMER ! THAT LADY IS AN AMAZING EMPLOYEE AND HAS HELPED ME TREMENDOUSLY. EVERYONE ELSE IS TERRIBLE. THEY BARELY ANSWER THEIR PHONE, AND IF THEY DO THEY NEVER CAN HELP. EDIT 9/20/33 - THE NEW PLUMBING PERMIT OFFICER SHOULD NEVER HAVE GOTTEN HIS JOB HERE. HE IS INCREDIBILY RUDE, TRIES TO PUSH HIS HOWEVER MANY YEARS HE HAS DONE THIS IN YOUR FACE. HE WANTS THE APPLICATION DONE HIS WAY OTHER THAN THE WAY IT HAS BEEN DONE SINCE THEY MOVED TO ONLINE. IF IT ISN'T DONE HIS WAY HE WILL JUST CANCEL THE PERMIT INSTEAD OF CALLING ONCE HE CATCHES SOMETHING. HE WILL NOT LET YOU SPEAK, YOU CAN ONLY LISTEN TO WHAT HE HAS TO SAY. FIRE HIM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bad service everything I don't even know why they have employees and they don't help no body. Worse place to get permits and schedule inspections

These are the most complacent government workers. The code enforcement and permits is a joke. You can build Noah's Ark in your backyard. The county do not care 😒. 😒

I went to the Marriage license department and I was given a form by a lady who asked me to fill it out and wait to be called. Well I waited and it looks like nobody remembered I was there then this guy passed by and I asked if they were on break and he said no. He offered to help me get the paper work I needed and he was SUPER helpful. I noticed from his name plate that his name was Jonathan Chester and he did display a lot of professionalism and high sense of integrity as he does his job and I wish a lot of govt employees I have met are like him. I got my license in less than 10 minutes and he took time to advise me on next steps that were required.

Max occupancy would be determined by the square footage and amenities. Zoning would probably just let you know that a shelter or such is allowed in the area. Check with the fire marshal for specifics on occupancy.
The building is open but only to drop permits off in a drop box.
Yes, in order to get certain permits, such you have to have an initial building permit.
That would probably be Michael Mallinoff Director permits and inspection
I dont thing do unless the pillar is supporting something
yes to both
Depends on what type of permit and whether or not you have all of your paperwork in order. My fire protection permits take 2-3 week's for review and I drop off 15-30 plans and permits a week.
You have to call or go in person with the address and tax ID number to see if there is a permit, phone number is on the website.
No you only need a permit if you are doing electric or plumbing. If the basement is finished already you dont need abpermit to repair it
A building permit
Ok long fence replaced it and said didnt need one since it was replacing an existing fence in the same spot. And now because of there neighbor the country is they're threatening to find my parents $200 a day until it's taken down
Call Baltimore County inspections there is nothing online, the country doesn't have an accessable online database for permits or inspections
