LOTS of machines, which is good because there were several not working. Big dryers, washers are $1.25, dryers by the quarter. Floors pretty wet and dirty, but overall not bad. Gas station and convenience store next door.

This is now the only washateria in Bacliff, now that the one off of Oleander and the one off of 18th have both closed. There is one more on 146, but for people without cars or living close by, this is the only one available. So it is pretty much packed all the time. It opens at 6:00 in the morning and then the pickings are pretty good, and it closes at 9:00. Weekends are the worst. They are good at keeping the quarters machine filled, and it is run by the same people that own the Conoco next door, and they have quarters if the machines are out. They are pretty good about keeping the machines working, and do respond to notices about broken machines by going next door to the gas station. So far, it has been so busy there every time I drive by that I have put off doing my laundry for three weeks now. Someone could make a fortune opening another washateria.

Parking is limited. Building is small inside. Washers range from $1.75-$4.75 on new & old units. Dryers are 25 cents and its a twist/push button to start. Units that are broken had signs on them. Not the best, but it gets the job done plus somewhat cheap.
