Chris & Cheryl are great! Highly recommend second chance if you want a one of a kind anything wood! We Came to them wanting to put a live edge outdoor bar top on a pool house we were building we picked cedar and Chris offered to cut it that afternoon and we went and picked the slab that we liked he even recommended a furniture maker who would be able to finish the bar and sink and help arrange that whole thing! It was so much cheaper and more amazing than any granite or other outdoor kitchen is made of ! 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️All the way

Chris & Cheryl are awesome! We were looking for a live edge to make a bar rail for our game room. My wife and I walked around the saw mill and we’re greeted by Chris and Cheryl. Absolutely the nicest people you will ever meet. They showed us around and we picked out a beautiful slab of cedar. Chris did an amazing job finishing and clear coating the piece. Definitely worth a visit , a ton of different wood to choose from. Highly recommend Second Chance Hardwoods!

Yes, I have a 24 in wide planer and do custom planning.
In my experience visiting Second Chance Hardwoods it is not really a place for buying dimensional lumber. The owner is accommodating and will try to supply what you're looking for however it is primarily a place for unique, live edge pieces. I do recommend a visit because it is a cool place. I secondly suggest calling before a visit.
