This review would have been zero stars if it let me do so. We are new to the area and when I asked my coworkers who was a decent propane fuel company, three out of five of them literally said in unison "anybody but Shagrins gas". Unfortunately the inground tank at our home belonged to them. My wife called them a few days ago about getting 100 gallons of propane delivered. We just wanted enough fuel to get through the rest of the middle of winter. The woman stated that the account was in the homeowners name and he would have to call to place the order. She did state to my wife that it would cost $3.37 per gallon. I explained to my wife that other local companies were offering propane for over $1 a gallon less then Shagrins. Their prices were the highest of any local company we called. None the less we contacted our landlord to set up a delivery of 100 gallons of propane. Two days later my wife found a receipt from Shagrins on our front door stating that they had filled the tank. They gave us 333 gallons of propane leaving us a bill for almost $1200. We were stunned! My wife called them immediately regarding the bill. The same woman she spoke to two days prior now was stating that they do not do partial fills. They will only do a minimum of 250 gallons. She never told my wife this two days prior when she told them all we wanted was 100 gallons for now. My wife explained that we would have to make payments on this bill. She was told to have our landlord call them to make payment arrangements since the account was in his name. We called him to have him make payment arrangements and he stated he always gets a run around when he calls. None the less he called us back about a half an hour later and stated he was getting the run around so he just paid the bill on the spot. We have since sent him a check to cover the bill he paid. There is a reason Shagrins gas has less then one and a half stars on google review. They can reply to this review with their usual "we don't know your circumstances please give our office a call to work this out." We don't need to call you ever again. We already know what your all about.
