Nice, easy trail that is well maintained. Not too many hikers and dogs on leash are welcome.

So many trails to choose from that you can spend hours here and still have more. There are many mountain bikers who use this trail but it did not feel as though hikers were in the way and everybody was polite in navigating the trail. We saw a lot of prairie dogs and various birds. It was beautiful!

The trail itself is very nice. We heard frogs and the trees and saw some deer. It is hardly used in the fall, so we had the trail to ourselves. The views from the top are gorgeous. The trail is doable for all ages, especially if you take your time. There is a picnic bench at the top as well as a few benches along the way to sit. It is very nice.
