This is one place where people enjoy making other people miserable! No flexibility or any intention to help. I thought the DMV was bad till I got an encounter with MBON.

READ…My license expired march of 2020 during the pandemic nobody was prepared or knew how to handle it plus I was pregnant and since I didn’t renew I have to reinstate and pay for everything all over again and pay for being penalized with a delinquency fee on top of the renewal fee on top of class fees book fees and test fees or show at least 17 hours that I risk my unborn and my life and worked in the pandemic? Which is absurd! Took 3 weeks just to get in contact with theses people for them to tell me this ridiculous. I had a job lined up ready to take my tv and background. No grace period! no leniency! no empathy! no care! just cut in dry unlike how they expect us to be with our patients. If it was a pandemic world emergency going on that year strong enough to shut everything down and have the government send out money the health care workers license shouldn’t have been the same case situation that year should’ve been voided for the year 2020 or however long COVID-19 lasted with no vaccines and no understanding of what it was. At least have access online everyone was effected! The government should’ve held a nation wide reinstatement online test last year or this year and a free however many hours you need course at some local facilities to keep everyone up to date for the patients sake and not lose even more healthcare workers so keep up with your license people hold it for dear life cause it’s time for me to find a new profession I’m done with nursing I don’t want to be in nothing where I’m not valued let another crisis happen god forbid we’ll be even more under staffed and short handed. God help us all!

I paid to renew my CRNP 2 months ago and they have not updated their website to reflect this which is causing problems at my job. I have called numerous times, you can't leave a message or speak to anyone. I emailed weeks ago without response. It is truly ridiculous that this agency doesn't respond to people. Unacceptable.

*UPDATE UPDATE* I'm not sure what's going on but my 1st renewal is due in December. After reading all these post stating that they have paid for renewal and still waiting for it to update, I decided to renew early. Again not sure what's the issue because my license was updated 2 days after payment. And I did everything online and didn't have to call at all. * UPDATE * - My patience was not in vain. This process was very challenging but in the end I finally received my license number 🙌. Ms. Winters was very helpful and I'm so happy for this process to be over. Good luck to everyone! I am trying to be as patient as one can be considering I have some issues that came up. But I have been waiting since January to get an answer in reference to my license. I did get a response last month but no response to my last 2 emails. I am anxious and ready to start my career, if the Lord is willing. Is there an email to the director or someone up higher that can help me?

Seriously does anyone answer the phone , I have been on hold for hours yet nobody answers the phone. What is the money we are paying for if they can't hire a receptionist to answer calls or do we have to drive to Baltimore for simple questions. This is a big shame to BON.
Please i having idia for this .What day expair my Cna license
I can say the same I made a mistake on my application and it's been almost 10 mths ,10 mths and they keep telling me I am ok and it will be fixed .Wait what 10mths y'all got me calling and emailing and have the ordasirty to tell me .Y'all don't understand why people come to the office it's not going to make a difference.Say what?!
Go there. do not call them. They do not answer phone calls.
They answer. You have to be a little persistent. When you get to speak to someone, just be respectful and patient and it will work out. I believe they are overwhelmed with request. I have spoken and received help from a few helpful people. Best of luck.
Yes as long it is the month you are expiring
No one is going to pick up that line is BS.I Was on the phone for 2hours never again.......

Did you ever find out a number? I currently find myself in the same situation
My license has expired and I didn't notice until the agency I work for called me and told me. I want my license renewed and I can't get in contact with anyone and I'm not able to do the email.
I tried, you can't and they are still close to the public as of October 8, 2020. I've email with no response.
I came with a foreign license also Can you please explain the criteria!
I believe CCBC Essex offers this. You can look online for the times/dates available.
Looking the board of nursing website under look up license. Put your info in

Yes, you can
Go to nc board of nursing apply for license let then no you already license in another state you can transfer license
They take visa, American express,
I just sent email. Didn’t go in person. Also try calling
Been there twice and got the run around. 8 months, I've been trying to get my permanent license and every time something else is needed. Don't try to call, it's impossible to get through.
You have to go online and email them but it'd be better if you just went up there. The email response takes some time as well now.
I'm sorry. I do not understand your question.
yes
All RN and LPNs expiring in March 2020, April 2020, April 2021 and May 2021 must complete a Background Check to renew - Click for details. License renewals can take 5 to 10 days to be procesed. If a renewal applicant is required to complete a background check as part of the renewal process, additional processing time beyond 10 days is required.
Have to call and check sorry couldn't help
Go to MBON office someone is there, he will give you form to fill
You can obtain your criminal background check through any authorized agency that does fingerprinting and background checks. You can obtain one from the office of CJIS. They're located within the same complex where the Maryland Board of nursing is located. If the location is too far from you, you can Google fingerprinting and background check offices near me to find the one closer to you. Hope this helps
You have to check your state
I'm sorry Kenneth ,I have no clue in that department, sorry
Go on Maryland nursing board
Contact news reporters

It's the background check/fingerprinting. You'll get a receipt to bring back to MBON

I'm having the same issue now and I'm sure you have your license now. Please can you tell me how long you waited? Even classmates that passed after I did mine have their license numbers.

I have reckless driving on my record in 2016 will this stop me from getting my nursing license?
No
Look it up at Maryland board of nursing website and if you cant find it, call them or go to their office.
Go to Maryland board of nursing and have them guide you
Go to the office
Its better to drive there and have your issues resolved. That's what I did
A few years ago it too 2 months for me so I called and spoke with someone
I renew my license on my birthday month last yr. But it wasn't showing up because taxes people put a flag on it. And employer look it up said it expired Is it saying that because the flag I only owe 500.00 dollars Do anyone might know the answer to that question please
I don't think that will mess with your certification
Yes within a certain period of time. Depends on the duration
Go to offfice
Go to this place its FREE Caroline Center Education center in Baltimore, Maryland 900 Somerset St, Baltimore, MD 21202
Go to Maryland board of nursing website. And click on look up license...follow the instructions on the website
You have 28 to 30 dayz from day of expiration to renew ur GNA/CNA certificate. Do it soon & you'll be fine. Good Luck M. Bangs (R.N)
No you can't you have to transfer your license notify MDboard of nursing and tell them you have license in another state and they will tell you how to transfer them but to be honest you may want to go in person to get better assistance.
Good to Baltimore @ Board of Nursing. They will get you proceed right there
You can walk in and ask about your application, calling sometimes might be frustrating
If you have all of your paperwork in order, your temporary license takes about 14 business days
Same! I already did my CGFNS and i just got my report yesterday. It took 3 months for it to complete. Now my question is, do i need toefl or ielts. Lol
Against your code
Monday thru Friday 830a to 500p
What is answer to this question. (MBON needs to respond)
Can you.tell.me.oh.much.money.im.go.pay
You may have to take the class over again as PA may not require as many hours as MD does. You probably have better luck answering this question by just calling the college and asking deffinetly get an answer quicker
Go online to MBON look up a license get your number if you don't have it then go to renewal put your information in pay using debit credit card it's so easy and simple. The Board gives you 60 days before and 30 days after expiration but it may take a little time to update system be patient and important keep your paid receipt screen shot will be just as good because it has your personal information and your CNA or MT numbers
