Disappointed in our experience here. Front desk was very friendly. Biggest complaint is that the A/C in the room was not very cold. Had it set as low as it could go and room stayed in the 73-75 range. Asked for maintenance to come check it out and they stated everything working fine but brought in a fan for the room. Was a very uncomfortable night of sleep. Appreciated the effort but just didn’t meet expectations. Also felt the rooms were outdated and the mattresses were old and uncomfortable. Not what you would expect from a Double Tree.

Staff was very friendly. Our room was above the pool so it smelled heavily like chlorine, but the staff was nice enough to bring a fan up to help. The phones didn’t work in the room. Woke up in the morning to take a shower & there was no hot water. Expected to relax in the hot tub but the place was filled with kids jumping into the hot tub - might be a better hotel for families with children. Oh also parking is an additional $15 fee

Same expectations of a Double Tree from past stays. However, this check in was different in regards to meals at in hotel restaurant. Front desk was not clear on what was offered and we didn't find out until breakfast billing the next morning. We got it fixed for my wife and I but still not fixed. Hotel didn't fully credit and my and I for hotel credits. I had to call back to get billing fixed. It is still not resolved and we are 10 days past billing. Update: Called hotel again and was directed to correct individual that could resolve billing. Resolved back into my account within an hour. I have updated rating from 3 to 4 stars. This has been simple issue at check in, which is a business process flow issue. Overall hotel visit was great. Staff was friendly at front desk and in restaurant.

I love the location of the hotel. The service was spectacular. The front desk and manager were very helpful and constantly making sure that everything was good. I also really enjoyed the atrium. The hotel has a lot of great amenities like a Starbucks and a restaurant and a really comfortable giant seating area with a lot of comfortable couches and chairs and ample places to plug in your electronics to charge. The pool was nice even though I did not end up using it but I used the fitness center a couple times and it was great. The location is very good close to the airport and downtown. It is it is definitely a solid four stars. The bed was very comfortable in the room was really clean. The only reason I would not give it five stars as I felt the rooms themselves were very dated. They had kind of an ugly yellowish seventies look and really dim lamps and lighting and I think the rooms are in grave need of upgrading. Like I said though they were very comfortable and clean. All in all, I would definitely come back.

Get a passport, Visa, work permit, airline ticket to Salt Lake City Utah USA or ocean liner ticket to San Francisco California USA then transfer to Greyhound Bus to SLC then Uber, Lyft, or Taxi to the hotel. Apply at Front Desk.
Hilton has their mattresses made by Serta. If I remember correctly Serta makes a special mattress for DoubleTree as well as Waldorf but i could be wrong.
