Went to the Reggae Festival on Sunday. It was tons of fun and the Wine from Linganore is just delicious. Especially the sweet wines!

I am not here to rate the winery itself, I'm sure it's beautiful and it seems to have really good reviews. I recently attended the Reggae Wine Festival and I was highly disappointed. It was such a huge event but only has 2 caribbean food areas. I was there super early about half-hour after it started and still waited 45 minutes for food. To make matters worse the food was painful average and $40 just for oxtail. If anyone are a big fan of oxtail they are usually cooked until tender. I took mines home to eat and was using a steak knife to get the meat off. To add the beef patties were still frozen and the coco bread was hard as a rock. This was my first time attending their annual wine festival and it will be my last. I wished I had experience this place outside if the festival first...

I would not recommend bringing it, but I wouldn't expect anyone to stop you as long as you are drinking it outside and are also buying some alcohol from them.

It's really not too much a difference Cabernet Franc is from black grapes . It's red wine but lighter then Cabernet Saucignon. Cabernet Saucignon is a dry wine from black grapes also it's a red wine but more heavier tastefu. These two are from the same family of wines. Saucignon is more dense in color n Franc is less dense in color
I believe it is 1hr early for tent setup. Even if not I would suggest getting there early to get a spot for your tent during a festival.

You can bring food and drinks. No alcohol. You can bring tents, blankets, chairs. I suggest get a wagon. Easier to transport everything
