The Y is the best kept secret of Gettysburg. I never understand why it is not crowded all of time. Of course, I am glad for the space! The facilities and classes are great.

I mainly go to the YWCA because of there gym but sometimes go there for there basketball or racquetball area. The staff are always nice and friendly, if you need a problem they will answer it with kindness. The gym has lots of equipment and anyone can find something they enjoy to do. Though the locker rooms can be a bit gross, I do not know if the two scales work because when I use them both I always get different results but only a 1-3 pound difference. There physician scales are not a digital scale so I do not know if they need to be fixed or something like that. Overall this is a good YWCA with the only problems being small things.

All children under 10 must be accompanied by an adult according to their posted signs…. different areas of the Y require different ages and you would have to check depending on what activity
The Gettysburg YWCA is closed. All gatherings are cancelled, by orders of Gov. Wolfe.
