Local and delicious. Bacon, sausages etc... Highly recommend their turkeys for Thanksgiving too... their brine is terrific and makes the meat so tasty.

Fantastic local butcher with top notch customer service. Some of our family favorites include the bacon, carolina bbq, bacon cheeseburgers and scrapple when available. They also have a great assortment of sausage.

I discovered the quality of meat at the Farmstead Butcher after finding out the bacon used in the breakfast sandwiches at Jeannie Bird Bakery came from this Gettysburg Butcher Shop. I made the short drive to Gettysburg and found this delightful gem in The Farmstead Butcher. So far I have tried the bacon, chicken eggs, ground beef, steaks, chicken and sausage. Each of the meats has been fresh, tender and delicious! The staff are so friendly and helpful and even willing to share recipe ideas. I am so glad I found this wonderful, local Butcher Shop!

I'm so thrilled to find a local source of ethically raised food! They even have duck eggs. I bought some carcasses for bone broth, and they gave me a free bone because it had a little freezer burn. So nice of them, and it made lovely broth. Can't wait to go again!

Yes, we do process lambs but they need to be slaughtered at another USDA inspected slaughterhouse first.
