OK so this is the spot you go where you want to have a super tasty and thoughtfully designed dish. The prices are great. Not too expensive. It reminded me if a trendy spot tucked away in LA. My partner and I have lived in Boise about a year now and we are from all over, so finding this little gem made our night. The blues and beet salad is the best. If you're looking for the perfect dish, a great price, friendly staff, and a stylish environment - you gotta go to The Local!

Tonight was our first time at this establishment and I was very impressed. I had the short ribs and they were so tender and tasty. The staff was very polite, attentive and efficient. When we come back on our annual visit to Boise we will need to come back.

Wow! We were just looking for a quick bite to eat and this was close by. What an unexpected and wonderful surprise to walk into this great place. The food was excellent. Flavors well balanced and very fresh. Wonderful ambiance and food.

Tried The Local for the first and It won't be the last. Great food and great service. Very nice place. I had the steamed clams in a sausage ragu and my wife had baked brie, both were excellent.

Both I suppose. It's a restaurant, they do very unique soups that change daily, along with other stuff in their menu. They also have a decent beer selection, I always found a great craft beer I liked. Also wine, but I don't think they served liquor.

Tables, chairs, and menus are sanitized after every use. We practice social distancing with our seating and are currently at 50% capacity. We offer patio seating with heaters, as well as online ordering and curb side delivery.
