Extremely racist, unethical, agist and incompetent admissions staff. An unpoken bad reputation amongst many editors, journalists, business associates and corporate executives in NYC. Stay away.

A great personal and professional experience. At the time of my graduation in 1984, the school did not do much to help place students in their first jobs. That is my only ding on CSJ. Otherwise it opened up a great new world for me.

You can send the recommendation letters after the deadline for application, but each school is different. I would recommend you send it all within the deadline.
