Stopped for late lunch on a Sunday. Excellent Reuben and Club sandwich’s. Hot Apple pie with big scoop of ice cream was a delight. Pie made in site. Hope they have the apple huckleberry next time I drop by. Service was great and nice atmosphere at The Gateway

Im only giving a star because at least we got lemon in our water with no refill.. Keep trying to give this place a chance but 3 strikes and your out.. food was cold and under cooked again.. actually asked them to cook our hamburger steak again and still came back pink and I think they just microwaved it.. very disappointed!! My hot Turkey was a cold soggy sandwich even with the gravy on the side, asked for grilled onions and mushrooms and onions were crunchy and just barely warm and mushrooms weren’t even cooked and mashed potatoes were cold and vegetables were very undercooked and rubbery, definitely frozen.. at least my gravy was warm because they microwaved it because it had the cooked layer on the top..

It had been a couple of years since I stopped by, and I'm glad I came in! They have remodeled. Seating is comfortable and updated with sockets and USB ports at every booth. Reuben, homemade slaw, and hand-dipped huckleberry shake was perfect, and set me back $17, which is very reasonable for this area. Servers were very friendly and fast. I'll be stopping by again soon.
