I called to get legal advice pursuant to a landlord/tenant matter. The person who answered the phone, Maria sounded muffled which made it difficult to understand. She seemed frustrated & was extremely unprofessional. As the first person the caller speaks with it is paramount that the person displays good customer service, speaks clearly & leaves the frustration of the day at the door.

Does sound like something illegal is being done. Your best bet would be to either call legal aid society or show up at their office at 60 Bay St to schedule a consultation.
I rented out a 3 bedroom apartment on SI for 8 months as of now. The rent has been paid on the 1st of the month not a day late to find out this owner has illegally renting out a 2 family dwelling which is legally a 1 family dwelling with DOB
