One of my Suzuki df 300 motors was throwing erroneous codes. Techs I had talked to said it was most likely ECM or BCM . When I went in at 4pm on the Friday before 4th of July , Ben special ordered the parts and had them in by the 5th . I'm the process he recommended I start with the engine interface cables . I did and Ben was on point . Then they even let me return the special ordered BCM and ECM ! A savings of 2000$ ! And the interface cables were only a couple of hundred dollars . If your running Suzuki engines or want to buy new ones I 100% recommend Masterys.

If you need the right part go somewhere else. I went in to get some heat exchanger gaskets for my yanmars. I had model numbers and pictures of the park. In the store they tried to give me the wrong gaskets but when I showed him the pictures and went over the engine model numbers he found gaskets that looked right. I fly back to my boat in Central America but the gaskets are the wrong ones. If you need the right part go somewhere else they don't seem to care about what they are doing.

So here’s what happened and it is the truth. I ordered a transmission coupler from them and they gave me the wrong one. It looked right but doesn’t fit the spline on my transmission. Took me at least 2 months before I actually got around to installing it and I just discovered it doesn’t fit. I just got off the phone a few minutes ago with Dan, one of the sales reps, who was helpful and I realize he’s just doing what he’s been told to do. That’s fine. Don’t care. Dan admitted they gave me the wrong part and he was only willing to give me a discount on the right part which he did set aside for me. I don’t believe it’s even a very good discount as I’m only paying slightly less than I did the first time. Dan’s thought is that their warranty is expired by now and also I’d need the original box it came in. That very plain generic box was super important to him. I threw that box away the day I got it and as I recall it was a plain white cardboard box. Not a great argument in my opinion. So in a nutshell, It seems to me I’m paying for their mistake to the tone of around $200. Also this is a major inconvenience for me and I’m extremely unhappy about it. So unhappy in fact I’m pretty sure this is the first review I’ve ever written. Most businesses would’ve offered to overnight ship it all for free after screwing up but not these guys. It’s all on the customer. I can’t recommend them and I’ll probably never do business with them again. To end on a good note, Dan was helpful and he was honest.

Thinking about buying an old Bertram or Hatteras 61ft around 75,000lbs. and refitting it with a couple of Electric Engines. Can anyone give an idea of what a complete system including Electronics would cost. Cruising at 12kts for up to 10 hrs a day
