One of architect Ludwig Mies van der Rohe's masterworks hidden in plain sight in Newark NJ. Construction started in 1958 and the building opened in 1960. Lovely Miesian exterior in beautiful setting close to Branch Brook Park. It would be great to see the building being restored to its former architectural glory. The nearby Pavilion Towers were also designed by Mies van der Rohe (1886-1969) and offer the opportunity to see three original Mies buildings in close proximity.

ITS IMPOSSIBLE TO GET INTOUCH WITH ANYBODY. THEY DO NOT ANSWER THE PHONES. DOOR ALWAYS CLOSED . I THINK HIDING IN THE BACK. WE ARE DYING WITH RATS AND ROACHES. ALMOST A YEAR REQUESTING APPOINTMENT TO BE PAINTED. I DONT EVEN KNOW HOW THEY PASSED STATE INSPECTION. RIGHT NOW WAITING FOR STATE INSPECTION TO COME INSPECT THE APARTMENT.

its honestly one of the most dirtiest places in Jersey. U might as well live on a park bench at least there won’t be 23,000 bed bugs eating u🤷🏾♀️

DO NOT MOVE INTO THIS APARTMENT COMPLEX unless you do not mine -Roaches on Roaches on Roaches -Mouses at least 2 per apartment. Many people have Cats -NO Central System Extremely HOT apartment -WinterTime Apartment is freezing starting in the fall

OH YEAH too many roaches and rats coming through by the windows . Right now nobody answer the phone and they collect the rent money quickly and you do not see anybody. Office always closed now
I'm not sure if the Colonade Apartments takes Section 8. Make sure to call the office to find out. 😀

you cannot get in touch with anybody, I leave there and you can call all you want . you cannot go there in person because they are in the back and the door is locked . We are getting killed with RATS AND ROACHES
