What a great experience, enjoy a Saturday night with the Wifey. Just an unbelievable place to stay. The entire house is opened to you, full bar and so many places to just hang out. Don't second guess yourself, do it and you will love it

We came through on motorcycles and we usually stay down the street, but she was booked. We called Mike and he just had 2 rooms available and let me say he made us feel welcomed the minute we pulled in. This is the place to stay we loved it. Mike told us the history of the place and gave us a tour. This will be our stop from now on when we take our trip every year. It was like we was home the minute we stepped inside. So of you thinking of a weekend getaway this is the place to stay. We will definitely be coming back. 👍👍👍👍👍

Lovely historic hotel that is in the process of being redecorated and restored by Almon, the man in charge. He was so friendly and showed us around the hotel and shared its history. Very cute and interesting touches on the inside. There are some beautiful Guinea fowl on the property and restaurants and coffee shop within walking distance. I would stay here again!

I saw a review saying they advertised a bed & breakfast--just a little reading on the site or even a call will confirm that they USED to be a b&B, now a "guest house" where you're on your own for breakfast--which is fine because Pam's diner is just a few steps away! Their breakfast was cheap and very good! So let's clear that up. We went into it knowing they didn't serve breakfast. The price was pretty cheap compared to some other places we've stayed with less accommodations, but you just have to expect that this is not the Ritz. This is a historical, kitchy, and super friendly small-town experience that will pair perfectly with the Talimena scenic drive. I was impressed with all the preserved pieces of history, whether from the original hotel or just that time period. Lots of framed photos with descriptions give you a glimpse of life in those times, and make the place even that much more charming. Creaky hardwood floors, antique furniture, quilts on the bed remind you that it's an old building and "vintage" --while the pleasant, clean aroma, balcony and deck with string lights, modern appliances and remodeled bathrooms show their commitment to keeping up with the demands of today's patrons. We thought the free soft drinks, coffee, and bottled water, along with packaged snacks in several places, and self-serve beer fridge and bar (price suggestions listed but they work on an honor system--don't ruin this for all of us!) were a nice touch that you just don't get in a bigger hotel. Also the fact that they'll mail a postcard for you--that's just a nice, friendly touch. Say hi to the Guinea who hangs out in the deck, and enjoy the coffee shop and gift shop right across the street! Main street is just the next block over so make sure you go support local businesses and boutiques! (My only complaint is the bed was too firm for us to get a good nights' sleep!) Overall, it's worth your time and money to make this part of your travels. Even better if you're staying with the idea that you'll be taking the scenic drive--they have a map downstairs that shows you exactly where you'll be going! Enjoy!

I'm not from Oklahoma so I'm not sure. You could call Chris, I'm sure she would be more than willing to help you with any questions you would have. We loved the place.
