In 2020 I was age 68 and my mother age 88, booked room on 3rd floor. When we arrived tried to switch rooms putting us in a different room on a much higher floor which we explicitly did not want and discussed at time of booking. We especially booked and paid extra for ocean beach view, then after check in we found balcony's we're being renovated and repaired we're locked and all windows were covered with a blue plastic prohibiting any view in effort to keep glass shattering to a minimal risk! We were very disappointed. Not at all what we booked. We booked for 18 days, but the next day after checkin the governor closed beaches, restaurants, bars, lounges. Disney- Universal etc closed and the Governor was talking about closing borders to cross state lines to depart due to covid. Our family insisted we return to Tennessee immediately. We were told we would have credit for 2 weeks we could rebook and return at a later date. Upon our return home we received a letter from the rental management that the owner had changed their mind and the credit was void. We were in the condo for a total of 20 hours, at a rental cost of $2,800.00. it was a beautiful room but not worth over $1,000 per hour. We had rented previously direct from a family and loved the Sherwin, but this trip we felt robbed by management. The bait and switch on rooms. We would never recommend you rent from the rental management at the Sherwin.

Two Fridays in a row renovations were going till 1am. The whole condo vibrated. So incredibly loud. Couldn't sleep. Beware.
