It's a Christian church denomination called Disciples of Christ. It's a wonderful church!
The Drive In Church is having a Sunrise Service on site (3140 S. Atlantic Avenue, Daytona Beach Shores, FL) on Easter Sunday. The service begins at 6:15 a.m.
We will have worship at our regular times, 8:30 & 10:00 a.m. on Sunday, March 22, 2020. We also live stream our services through our Facebook page - https://www.facebook.com/driveinchurch/. Normally our Friendship Hall is open for coffee, donuts and fellowship, but we have suspended that for the time being.
The particular form of the cross on our building is referred to as the "Portate Cross" from the Latin word "portare" which means "to carry." You'll sometimes hear it referred to as "the carried cross," reminding us that Jesus carried his cross to Calvary, and also called those who would be followers of him to "take up their cross and follow me." It is also often referred to as the St. Andrew's cross which is a part of the denominational logo of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) with whom we affiliate.

Nothing like the drive-in church but we're affiliated with Disciples of Christ and there's most likely an affiliated church in Fort Myers
