Me and my husband started setting up camp. We saw a guy watching but didn't pay attention. We got the tent out and set it up then came guy came over told us he was the host and we are not allowed to set up tent that the spot we pick was just for RV. Yea we never heard of this either so we ask were we can set up he told us over on other side we ask if there was water or electric he told us no. Hmmm so we can set up tent but not electric or water. He went back to his RV that had host. Thats really nice host to watch people come in set up then tell them after all that hard work you caint set up. You caint get anybody on the phone number they give you Shores lakes campground not far also outdoor adventure campground.

Me and my family had a great time here, the managers Rick and Marilyn were really nice and Rick came around almost everyday to see if we needed anything or if we needed help with anything. Really nice and peaceful park, very clean, well taken care of. We will be coming back here very soon.

Sites not level..water only a select few..CampHosts nice but their site is not what it should be. Senior pass price $10.. We left and paid 30 more at a place in Alma. Much much better. City should make more inspections especially Host site. They have stuffed furniture at rig. They have 4 dogs on chains in 90 degree weather. Limit Hosts on length of stays. Also no showers.

Friendly campground managers and fairly well maintained. Used the primitive camping while bike touring. Quiet at night. Potable water available. No showers.
