PLEASE do not send your loved ones here. My mother was ignored on multiple occasions, left without pain management for ASL, she couldn't communicate and they refused to find anyways of communicating with her. It took her going into respiratory failure for them to take any action. If you see this review take this as your sign to find another facility.

I recently had a 9 day stay at Bella Vita. I received excellent care. I went there for physical therapy. Their PT team was top notch. I improved faster than expected I feel due to the therapy. The staff saw to my needs. I feel they could use more staff. Dietary accommodated my needs. I eat lactose or dairy free. I also eat gluten free. There are a lot of people who don't eat gluten. They should offer some gluten free choices on their menu. I thought the food was good. I would go there again if I needed to.

I'm trying to find another location!!! The social worker is not giving me any info on any other places I can go to... The staff are horrible!!! Even down to the charge nurse... I've read all there positive things on the wall n they are none of them. They have no communication skills, no sympathy, or compassion for the clients!!! I came here for pain management n I was in pain for two weeks n I'm still in pain. They lied to me about trying to get pain management be after a two week period one berly seen me n she said they just called her that morning. On top of that the nurse bonna and NA clair were giving me a hard time with my meds!!! So they lied to me making me think it was the P.M. team. They are just prolonging people's stay so they can make money off of them... They're food is by far the worst I've ever tasted! Way over seasoned n very salty!!!nwas always late n cold! I have nothing nice to say about this place except its going to be good feeling when I'm leaving!!! Worse decision I've made!!!!

My cousin has been here for a little over a month. When she went in, was to get therapy to get strong enough to walk. In the time she's been there she got Covid. Hasn't been eating and they put her in Hospice care. I pray we can get her out of there before anything else happens to her.

Hi Gail. We were formerly known as Desert Sky Health and Rehab Center. Thank you.
Hi Brian, generally we do not allow family or visitors to stay with patients due to liability reasons. But we have made exceptions in certain situations. To get more information and discuss this, please call our admissions team at 623-931-5800, ext 2006. Thank you.
Hi Cierra, yes we allow pets to come visit but we ask that you have proof of vaccinations for the safety of the other residents and staff. Thanks for reaching out.
No we are a skilled nursing facility. Physical & occupational therapy. You can try Copper Springs in 107th & McDowell.
Hello. Our beds go up to 450 and depending on insurances, we can order equipment if needed.
Hello, Apologies for the late response. We are a supervised smoking facility, so we have smoking times throughout the day on our designated smoking patio. Thank you for the question!

Yes they do care for the patients at Bella Vita. It is very clean and the food is great. I have been here for 40 days and I really like this place. They put money into quality staff and quality food.
If your retired person needs medical attention (this is a skilled nursing facility) for short or long term care, then the answer is yes. If your retired person needs minimal care then a place like Desert Sky Assisted Living.
